He is currently the Digital Director for Ed Gillespie for Governor in Virginia. Eric led digital strategy for Marco Rubio’s presidential campaign as digital director, overseeing an in-house team of 15 during during the primaries. In the summer of 2016, Eric traveled to Australia to help return Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull to government in one of the closest elections in their history.
Eric finished out the cycle at the NRSC as Director of Digital Standards to ensure the digital efforts of key campaigns were properly resourced and are making the most of best practices.
In 2014, Eric was digital director for Ed Gillespie’s senate campaign in Virginia, which ended in a closer-than-expected finish with a margin of 0.8% (just 17,723 votes) and held the incumbent below 50% despite being massively outspent.
The cutting edge digital strategy he implemented — encouraged by an all-star candidate — is credited with helping to narrow the gap.
