Josh Sharp is an award-winning media strategist whose work spans the traditional and digital advertising divide, with a record of developing data-driven advertising campaigns for a wide array of regional, statewide, and national clients.
Sharp is a co-founder and managing director, advertising at Advoc8, recently named “Best New Firm” by Campaigns & Elections Magazine. Advoc8 is a brand experience and advertising agency that drives brand and campaign initiatives through advertising, events and experiences, and branded merchandise.
Launched in 2016, the agency’s client roster includes major tech companies, national media organizations, political and public affairs firms, trade associations, and other corporate and issue advocacy groups.
Prior to co-founding Advoc8, Sharp developed the advertising arm of Harbinger Outreach, a D.C.-based firm. During the 2012 election cycle, Sharp led the development of an in-house creative team at the Republican National Committee that set the gold standard for rapid response advertising, earning over 100 million total views and an RNC-record 13 Pollie Awards in 2012 alone.
